Covid - 19 Protocol for In-Person Sessions

Infection control measures are now in place at The Healing Rooms, Greystones. We are keeping a close eye on changes in recommendations from the Dept. of Health and will adjust this policy in line with best practice protocol as time goes on. You will be informed of any changes.

The Following is an overview of what you need to know and agree to before coming for your appointment. 
 

BEFORE COMING FOR APPOINTMENT

  • Thoroughly read this email. If you need clarification on any matter please get in touch with me. Hit reply to this email to let us know you have read , understand and agree to following our protocol.

  • Before coming for your appointment ensure you are COVID-19 symptom free as oulined by the HSE.

  • Ensure you have not been in contact with a confirmed or suspected Covid-19 case.

  • Ensure you have not been recommended by a medical professional to self-isolate or cocoon at this time.

  • Do not attend if you have a cough or sneezing cold

WHAT TO BRING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • Please bring your own water bottle. Glasses and water jugs have been removed to minimise risk of cross-contamination.

  • Please bring you own tissues. Once again tissues at the centre have been removed to minimise risk of cross-contamination.

  • You can pay cash by putting the correct amount in a sealed envelope and leaving in a designated area at your appointment. Alternatively, I can forward you an invoice via Paypal for you to pay online prior to appointment.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON ARRIVAL AT THE CLINIC

  • Our appointments are staggered to minimise number of people in the centre at the same time in order to support social distancing. Please be on time for your appointment. You can wait outside or in your car until I text you.

  • I will text you a couple of minutes before you appointment time to let you know its time to come in and will greet you at the door. 

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU ENTER THE CLINIC

  • On entering the building, you will be asked to sanitise your hands.

  • Social distancing should be maintained at all times.

  • We have had protective screens installed in our therapy rooms for talk therapies as a physical barrier to support infection control.

  • Your seat will have a disposable covering when you arrive. This is changed between client and surfaces disinfected.

CHANGES IN CONTRACT AROUND CANCELLATION POLICY AND CONTACT TRACING IN LINE WITH COVID-19 POLICY

  • If you need to cancel appointment due to the Covid-19 Protocol, the cancellation fee with be waived. Outside of this circumstance, cancellation policy will apply as before.

  • COVID-19 CONFIDENTIALITY LIMITATION - In the case of a confirmed COvid-19 case being associated with my practice, in line with contract tracing as set out by the Department of Health, identifying details will be shared in order to ensure follow-up is possible. No content will be disclosed.
